I have just had an independent survey performed on my Victorian terrace due to concerns regarding recent house movement. My experience with the company has been extremely positive, all be it a not so pleasant survey read due to my suspicions being confirmed! We were very happy with the level of service provided by Structural Surveys. Communication was prompt and we received very comprehensive information on the service we were to expect as well as a clear and transparent quote. This allowed us to make an informed decision and, after we decided to proceed, an inspection was arranged within two working days. Jane was very helpful in choosing a date and time that would be suitable for us. Chris, the structural engineer, was punctual and carried out a thorough inspection of the property. Arranging the survey was quick and easy which I didn't expect given many other structural survey companies did not even pick up the phone. The surveyor picked up on some minor issues that the standard home buyer survey did not whilst putting my mind at ease knowing the structure of the house is generally good and won't cost me a fortune to fix in future.
